About Us
Wee Kids is a family owned and operated preschool established by Lynn Mahs (Owner/Director), Kathleen Popielaski (Owner) and Kristen Popielaski (VPK Teacher). Along with a long term staff of experienced, educated and caring teachers, Wee Kids has had the privilege and pleasure of instilling an eagerness to learn and has provided success in school for the children in the New Port Richey community for 30 years. We provide a strong academic foundation which promotes physical, emotional and social skills that will foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
OUR TEACHERS
The teachers at Wee Kids Preschool are chosen based on their education, experience and their love for children. Our long term staff consists of teachers who have all worked, taught and cared for children at our school for many, many years (2-23 years). All the teachers are dedicated to giving your child the best education possible while ensuring each day is filled with fun, hands-on learning experiences. Every teacher is background screened and has completed 40 hours or more of childcare training, early literacy training as well as being trained in First Aid and CPR. The majority of our staff have further educated themselves by obtaining a CDA (Child Development Associate) or FCCPC (Florida Childcare Professional Credential). All staff continue their education annually through workshops, trainings or conferences which enable them to acquire new skills and knowledge.
